This privacy policy provides information on the processing of personal data in connection with the use of Google Meet. Google Meet is operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Participation in our online sessions via Google Meet is voluntary. In order to participate in video conferences, you have to explicitly agree to this privacy policy for Google Meet and to the processing of your data in accordance with Google's privacy policies and our general privacy policy.

2. Purpose of processing user data
When you use our services via Google Meet, please note that some of your data may be processed by Google. Google Meet is a video conferencing service provided by Google LLC. The processing of your data by Google Meet is subject to Google's privacy policies and applicable data protection laws.
The processed data may include:
- Name: You may be asked to enter your name to identify yourself in a conference. Other participants can see your name. Regarding participation in video conferences, we will not verify if you are using your correct name.
- Email address and/or phone number: If you sign in through a Google account or join by phone, your email address and phone number may be processed.
- IP address: Your IP address may be collected by Google to ensure the security of the service and roughly determine your geographic region. A legal option in many countries is to use a VPN.
- Cookies: Google may use cookies and similar technologies to store information about your session and settings.
- Session data: During the conference, data such as audio and video streams may be transmitted to make the conference visible and audible to all participants. This data is usually not stored or processed permanently.
3. Legal basis for data processing under the GDPR
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data in the context of Google Meet is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, as well as our legitimate interest in providing our services pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
4. Storage period of data
Your data will be stored for as long as necessary to achieve the above-mentioned purposes. After the end of a video conference, your data will generally be deleted. We do not keep records of meetings unless it serves a legitimate purpose, is suitable to fulfill that purpose, and is necessary to achieve that purpose.
4. Storage in the EU
We would like to inform you that in our Google Workspace Business Standard account settings, we have set Europe as the storage location for your data in Google Meet to ensure that your data is stored within the EU.
5. Right to object to data collection
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by unsubscribing from our services or otherwise discontinuing the use of Google Meet. However, please note that this may result in you not being able to use our services.
